Stress Release in Living Color!!

I recently saw info on a study that happened at Stanford University regarding the benefits of nature and immersing yourself in it. Nature, like…trees, grass, open air, birds – the stuff you find in the natural great outdoors! NATURE!  This study just said those who walk outside in an area filled with green had lower levels of dark reflection/ doom & gloom thoughts / focus on “the struggle is real” ideology/ feelings of stress and depression.  Like being in nature was an antidote.  The study found that folks who spend time walking in green nature had lower levels of the aforementioned darkness than those who spent the same amount of time walking in noisy, cemented, populated, traffic ridden urban areas! GREEN – is a stress antidote! A little color psychology: Green is a nurturing color…  The color is also a heart chakra color so it comes with a vibration that is compassionate and kind, loving, nurturing. You can feel safe and wholesome in the midst of lots of Green.

Another thing that’s happening when one is out in nature is the color BLUE! Where?  Look up!! On a good day, there it is! J On days when you can see blue as well, you’re getting a double whammy of stress release. Blue is amazing for tranquility.  The lighter the blue, the more tranquil the energy from it.  Blue is a throat chakra color… This energy center is about communicating and expression of your will. This chakra helps to allow you to get grounded in, live and express the benefits of the Green vibration.  Those are the two colors work together to play heavily in relieving stress.  There’s one more thing Nature offers to relieve stress more than urban areas. SOUND. The Ambiance via the natural melodies of birds and other animals communicating amongst themselves and the breeze that this relaxed open air space is naturally filled with. Feeling edgy?! Find some nature!

Breathe in the colors.

Breathe in the sound.

Exhale the stress.

Dissolve the edge!  Namaste!
